The past and future of humanity

BIBLIOGRAPHY

Alaric Thain’s History of the 21st Century does not include a bibliography, nor formal citations for the works to which it refers. Remember that it was written for readers in the 29th century, who can simply ask Artie for details about referenced authors. For those who are interested in the works referred to in the book and who are more at ease with typical bibliographies, we offer the following

Asimov, Isaac
 1950 I, Robot. Gnome Press.

Note: Alaric Thain was a great fan of Asimov’s and would undoubtedly have suggested any of his books. This is included because of the reference to it with respect to Galit Shavitz’s reasoning with respect to Artie’s guiding principles.

Clottes, Jean, and David Lewis-Williams
2001 Les chamanes de la préhistoire: transe et magie dans les grottes ornées ; suivi de Après les chamanes, polémique et réponses. Paris: Maison des roches.

Vonnegut, Kurt
2011 The Collected Novels. Sidney Offit, ed. The Library of America. New York, NY: The Library of America.

Like Asimov, Vonnegut was also a favorite of Alaric Thain’s and his work would have been highly recommended by him.
